  • Chemeketa Community College, CTE Exploration Week

    SUMMER PROGRAM

    CTE Exploration Week, happening June 22nd-25th, is a hands-on learning experience for students ages 14-16 in Marion, Polk, and Yamhill counties. Students can take part in engaging lessons featuring activities that get them involved in the day-to-day work of what it takes to be in the classroom and to pursue a career in their chosen CTE field.

  • OSU-Cascades Summer Academy

    SUMMER PROGRAM

    High school students (entering grades 10–12) can spend a week living and learning on campus at OSU-Cascades in Bend, Oregon! Explore hands-on learning in fields like computer science, health, outdoor products, art + tech, and more, all while connecting with peers and faculty. Students can choose to stay in the residence hall for a full college experience. Participants also earn a $500 OSU-Cascades scholarship upon completion.

    Session 1: July 19–24, 2026

    Session 2: July 26–31, 2026

  • Salem Public Library

    PAID SUMMER INTERNSHIP

    Salem Public Library is seeking two local high school-aged interns (approximately 16-19 years of age by June 15, 2026) to work with our Youth Services team during the summer of 2026. This position will work with diverse Library customers and staff.

    This is a 20-hour/week position for 10 weeks (a total of 200 hours). This Hourly pay is $16.83. The 200-hour internship is anticipated to start June 15, 2026, after the school year is completed.

  • Oregon Department of Transportation

    SUMMER PROGRAM

    The High School to Highway (H2H) program is a great opportunity for graduating students to explore careers in roadway maintenance and construction with the State of Oregon.

    This is a full-time, one-year training program starting in July 2026.

    Applications are only open from April 6 to April 23, so be sure to apply early! Search for "H2H" to apply.

    SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY

    Unidos Bridging Community is offering one-time scholarships of up to $6,000 for students in Yamhill County pursuing manufacturing-related fields (welding, engineering, drafting, wine studies, and more).

    Applicants must be currently enrolled and able to show proof of enrollment by May 2026.

    FOOD SERVICE ATTENDANT

    Will be responsible for providing exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times, may be assigned to work banquets, birthday parties, and the café as needed.  Maintain an organized and sanitary environment.  Implement and adhere to food codes and regulations to provide safe food and beverages to guests.

    A Flagger directs vehicles around construction and road work sites while setting up barricades, signs, and traffic cones. The role pays $22 per hour and requires standing for long periods, holding a stop/slow paddle, and working safely in fast-paced outdoor environments.   • Girls Who Code, Pathways

    SUMMER PROGRAM

    Girls Who Code is offering a free virtual Pathways Summer Program for high school girls and non-binary students, including rising 9th graders and graduating seniors. Students will explore technology, build interest-based projects, and connect with a supportive global community—no experience required.

  • Oregon Business Academy

    SUMMER PROGRAM

    OBA Business Week is a 7-day residential summer program at Oregon State University where students experience college life while learning business fundamentals through hands-on, team-based projects. Participants work together to create a business from scratch, developing leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
