    SUMMER PROGRAM

    High school students (entering grades 10–12) can spend a week living and learning on campus at OSU-Cascades in Bend, Oregon! Explore hands-on learning in fields like computer science, health, outdoor products, art + tech, and more, all while connecting with peers and faculty. Students can choose to stay in the residence hall for a full college experience. Participants also earn a $500 OSU-Cascades scholarship upon completion.

    PAID SUMMER INTERNSHIP

    Salem Public Library is seeking two local high school-aged interns (approximately 16-19 years of age by June 15, 2026) to work with our Youth Services team during the summer of 2026. This position will work with diverse Library customers and staff.

    This is a 20-hour/week position for 10 weeks (a total of 200 hours). This Hourly pay is $16.83. The 200-hour internship is anticipated to start June 15, 2026, after the school year is completed.

This is to create a pool of eligible applicants rather than fill immediate openings. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, and have completed Algebra I or an equivalent math course with a grade of C or better. All required documents, including proof of age and transcripts or GED certificate, must be submitted by July 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
